“The Stars of Freedom” highlights a series of ten museum-quality reproduction American Flags which span the time from the Revolutionary War to the War of 1812. A video presentation with narrative and music takes the viewer through the evolution of the Stars and Stripes, emphasizing some of the significant events in the birth of our nation and leaving the audience with a feeling of what it means to be an American and the knowledge of the importance that the flag, a living symbol of our great country, has.
“The 34 th Star” is the second available presentation. It follows the same format as “The Stars of Freedom,” using six replica flags focusing on the state of Kansas and highlighting the significant events prior to and during the Civil War. The documentary format of this show focuses on the political and social events surrounding Kansas during its period as a territory through statehood and profiles deeds of heroism by Kansas Militia Units.
