Your recruiter will discuss eligibility standards, job skill training, and features & benefits offered by the Kansas Army National Guard.
You will be required to take an exam called the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, also known as the ASVAB. This test determines your trainability for various jobs.
Next, you will be scheduled for a complete physical exam at the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). After the exam you will discuss training opportunities with the MEPS Guidance Counselor. Once you have decided on a training date, your guidance counselor will secure your training reservation, complete your paper work and enlist you in the Kansas Army National Guard.
